I’m a gin and tonic person—well, technically a vodka tonic person—but I didn’t truly enjoy G&Ts until I found a gin I liked. That matters: the right gin makes all the difference.

I admit I’m fond of sweeter, smoother cocktails—those that sip like juice or soda. I can handle scotch, bourbon, or whiskey neat and likely outdrink many, but when given a choice I prefer something mellow, subtly sweet, and easy to enjoy.
That’s where the vanilla comes in— it softens and lifts the classic gin and tonic into something floral and slightly sweet without overpowering the drink.

-
Garnish with a lime slice and the vanilla bean.
