Makes about 2.5 tbsp blend
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp paprika, sweet + smoked, use more of one or the other based on heat preference. Smoky paprika is generally hotter.
- 1/2 – 3/4 tsp cayenne
- 1.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1.5 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1.5 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1.5 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt, (optional)
- optional add ins for variation:, crushed bay leaf, 1/4 tsp ground mustard
Instructions

Combine all the spices in a bowl and mix well. Transfer to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.
